My very good friend David lent me a book last week. It looked like a light read at first...

It occurs that it is a fully scientific analysis of a world inside and around plants. Steven Vogel explains how plants absorb light and get CO2 or how they cope with cold weather. He questions everything to the smallest detail and gives clear answers - very often supported with a number of mathematical equations...

Good read for everyone who would like to widen their horizons about diffusion or photosynthesis. It is absolutely gripping - I recommend it to anyone who would like to explore the green world around us in more depth.
