It is incredible to see different rate of growth in different plants. We had these jade plant leaf cuttings (indoors) for 7 months now! They have grown about 1mm per month on average.

Take a pumpkin seed - if you plant it now, you can expect more like 7m growth by Autumn! (If you have space for it ;)

Also, you can see that all the "mother leaves" turned red - they no longer need chlorophyl for photosynthesis. They have been a vital source of water and nutrients for the young emerging plants.
